How does the AI lineup work?
Aquix analyzes 30+ stats per player — OBP, SLG, RISP, 2-out RBI, hard-hit balls, pitch-grinding metrics, bunt proficiency, X-Factor archetypes — through seven independent scoring models (Leadoff, Best Bat, Power, Cleanup, Contact, On Base, Speed). It then builds your order using modern sabermetric theory (The Book, Tom Tango): high-OBP hitters at the top, your best run-driver at cleanup, the rest by OPS-descending. AI-assisted tie-breakers resolve close calls.
Can I override the recommended order?
Yes — drag any player to the slot you want. Your changes save automatically. Tap Reset in the toolbar to return to the AI recommendation.
Why isn't my .500 hitter batting cleanup?
Cleanup is the run-driver slot — RBI, slugging, hard-hit balls, and clutch numbers weigh more than batting average there. A .500 hitter with low SLG might be your second-best hitter (slot #5) instead. Check their profile in the lineup view to see why.
What do the chips next to players mean?
Leadoff, Best Bat, Cleanup, Power, Contact, On Base, and Potential — they describe each player's strongest profile. Chips help you understand the why behind the recommendation.
How do I share my lineup?
On the lineup screen, tap Share in the toolbar. Aquix generates a clean image you can text or post.
